Get Skilled. Get Ahead. Build Your Future in WA.
At Fetch, we know how important it is to stay skilled and job-ready in Western Australia's growing construction sector. While we don’t offer training directly, we've pulled together key government-backed programs and pathways to help you explore the best options for getting qualified and moving forward in your career.
Job and Skills WA.
The WA Government offers a range of subsidised training courses through Jobs and Skills WA, including construction-focused qualifications like carpentry, concreting, and construction management. Eligible students can access fee-free and reduced-fee options.
Construction
Training Fund.
The Construction Training Fund supports the development of WA’s construction workforce by providing subsidies and grants to eligible trainees and apprentices. It covers a wide range of construction courses, short courses, and upskilling programs.
Apprenticeships.
Apprenticeships combine paid work with formal training in trades like carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, typically over 3-4 years. They provide hands-on experience alongside nationally recognised qualifications, preparing you for a skilled career in construction.
Traineeships.
Traineeships are similar to apprenticeships but often focus on support roles in construction, like estimating, site admin, or project coordination. They're shorter in length and help build entry-level skills while you work.
Jobs & Skills Centres.
These centres provide free, personalised advice on training, career pathways, and job opportunities in construction.
CTF Scholarships.
Additional support for eligible individuals and employers, including scholarships and financial incentives to reduce training costs.
