Get Skilled. Get Ahead. Build Your Future in SA.
At Fetch, we know how important it is to stay qualified and job-ready in South Australia’s construction sector. While we don’t deliver training ourselves, we’ve highlighted key government-supported programs and training pathways to help you explore your next step and grow your career.
Free TAFE.
SA offers fully subsidised or low-fee training in priority areas like construction through TAFE SA and other providers. Courses include carpentry, concreting, and building construction.
Skilling - SA.
A state government initiative supporting apprenticeships and traineeships through subsidies and industry partnerships — helping you gain real skills on the job.
CITB.
Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) supports South Australians working in construction with subsidies, short courses, and access to their “MyTraining” portal for upskilling.
Skilled Careers - SA.
Offers free support to help you find training, match with opportunities, and understand your career pathway in the construction industry.
Apprenticeships.
Get paid while learning a trade like carpentry, plumbing, or electrical. These programs typically run for 3–4 years and lead to formal qualifications.
Traineeships.
Earn and learn in non-trade roles across construction — such as project admin or WHS support — often completed in 1–2 years.
