About the role
Our client is a leading manufacturer and service provider of specialised municipal vehicles think waste trucks, road sweepers, vacuum tankers, and compaction equipment.
With multiple new positions available at their Campbellfield workshop, they're looking for experienced heavy trades professionals to join a skilled, friendly team.
Day to day you'll service and maintain a range of specialised equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and work alongside a team that genuinely values technical depth.
Most technicians start in the workshop to get across the equipment before progressing into field or specialist positions.
What you'll need
- Trade qualification: Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
- 10 years' experience in heavy mechanical repair (including apprenticeship)
- Strong hydraulics background (cylinder repair, valve and pump rebuild)
- Electrical systems experience (automotive/heavy stream) able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Own general mechanical tool kit and a current driver's licence
- Experience across waste trucks, sweepers, bulk waste or vacuum/jetting equipment — highly regarded
- Nice to have: welding skills (MIG, TIG, stick) and/or a truck licence.
