Fetch Recruitment is seeking dedicated and reliable Ticketed Traffic Controllers for an exciting university event starting May 4th. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic and pedestrians, while gaining hands-on experience in event management and traffic control.
There are some shorter shifts which makes this role ideal for students, hospitality workers, or anyone looking for flexible work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Traffic Flow: Manage vehicle and pedestrian movement safely and efficiently.
- Monitor Parking Areas: Assist attendees with parking and guide vehicles to appropriate spaces.
- Crowd Control: Help direct crowds at entry and exit points to prevent congestion.
- Safety Management: Identify hazards and maintain a safe environment for all.
- Communication: Coordinate with event organizers and security; provide clear instructions to attendees.
- Traffic Tickets: Stop Slow Ticket or TM1 – MANDATORY
- Experience: Minimum 3 months experience, suitable for entry-level traffic controllers.
- Communication: Clear and confident instructions to the public; team player.
- Attention to Detail: Follow all traffic safety procedures accurately.
- Professional Appearance: Adhere to event dress code.
- Availability: Must be available for the full duration of the event.
