About the Role You’ll play a key role in the movement and handling of large modular building components and materials within our yard and on project sites. Working closely with site supervisors, carpenters, and production teams, you’ll ensure all lifting, loading, and transport operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers and forklifts for loading, unloading, and positioning of modular units and building materials
- Assist with on-site module installation and set-up
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance
- Support site teams with general labouring and logistics coordination
- Follow all safety procedures and site policies
- Current Telehandler Certificate and Forklift (LF) tickets
- Proven experience operating both in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Strong awareness of site safety and load handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
