Take Ownership of Site Delivery on Large-Scale Civil Projects Across SA
Step into a Civil Supervisor role with a contractor delivering major subdivision and earthworks projects across South Australia. You’ll oversee day-to-day site operations, manage teams and subcontractors, and drive quality, safety, and performance outcomes — all while being backed by a strong project pipeline and supportive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and compliant work site aligned with company safety protocols
- Promote a safety-first culture across teams and subcontractors
- Lead site-based teams (5–20 personnel) to meet program and quality requirements
- Monitor construction progress and subcontractor performance against schedule and cost forecasts
- Manage and report daily, weekly, and monthly production costs
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and authorities
- Coordinate procurement of plant, equipment, and materials
- Review and approve SWMS and Management Plans
- Ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulatory requirements
About You:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor on subdivision and bulk earthworks projects
- Proven knowledge of road construction, pavements, structures, and civil infrastructure
- Strong resource and people management capabilities
- Experience working with councils and utility/service providers
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead and motivate site teams
- Hands-on experience delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
- Confidence navigating compliance with DBYD, PMPs, SWMS, and MSDs
