We’re partnering with an established construction group to appoint a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major fitout / refurb projects (typically $15M+) from early planning through to delivery and handover.
The role
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including:
- Managing program, procurement, design coordination and construction delivery
- Leading site and delivery teams (PMs / CAs / SMs / foremen as applicable)
- Driving subcontractor performance, EOT management and risk mitigation
- Commercial management: cost control, variations, reporting and forecasting
- Stakeholder management across client-side reps, consultants and authorities
- Ensuring HSEQ compliance and strong site governance
What we’re looking for
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on fitout and/or refurbishment projects valued $15M+
- Strong builder-side delivery background across commercial fitout, refurb, upgrades, staged works, live environments
- Solid contractual and commercial capability (head contract & subcontracts)
- Confident leadership style with strong communication and reporting
- Relevant construction qualification (Construction Management, Engineering or similar)
- Long-term pipeline of large-scale fitout / refurb & new build work
- Supportive senior leadership and strong delivery culture
