Working alongside our qualified carpenters and factory crew, you'll help build and assemble roof trusses and wall frames to order, ensuring every job leaves our factory on time and to spec. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting qualified tradespeople with the fabrication of timber roof trusses and wall frames
- Reading and working from truss and frame plans/specifications
- Operating jigs, presses, and hand/power tools safely and accurately
- Loading, stacking, and preparing timber and finished products for dispatch
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and safe
- General labouring duties as required around the factory
- Previous experience as a trade assistant, labourer, or in a timber/frame and truss environment (highly regarded, not essential)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely and work well in a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual, repetitive work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
