A highly respected civil contractor with a strong footprint across South Australia is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the team on a major subdivision project in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. With a healthy pipeline of future developments and ongoing repeat business, this is a great long-term role with a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations across subdivision projects from initial earthworks through to project completion
- Supervise and coordinate site crews, plant operators, and subcontractors
- Oversee civil works including bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, water infrastructure, and road/pavement construction
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site, including toolbox meetings, pre-starts, and compliance management
- Track project schedules and support delivery teams in achieving milestones and productivity targets
About You:
- Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor within civil construction, ideally across subdivision or land development projects
- Solid understanding of earthworks, underground services, and road construction
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and effectively coordinate site activities
- Confident leading crews and managing subcontractors in a busy project environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and hands-on site management skills
