About the Role
Based in the West, you will be working to deliver on a large townhouse development. You will be assisted by multiple site supervisors, safety supervisor and a hands-on and supportive Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Workflow scheduling/Programming
- Overseeing multiple builds
- Effectively managing all jobs under construction
- Managing projects in an efficient manner always meeting tight deadlines and budgets
- Promote & maintain OH&S procedures
- Handle variations and/or any issues with the client
- Collaborating with the Construction Manager in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness
To Be Considered
To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for;
- Minimum of 5 years experience working within the residential sector as a Site Supervisor for a similar medium density builder or a commercial builder - A background within medium density/ townhouse style or commercial/apartment builds is required
- Experience working on triple story builds
- Experience working with steel frames
- Knowledge of residential building codes and guidelines and an understanding of the Victorian Residential Construction market - Local experience is required
- Must live locally or willing to travel
- A general desire to not only do your job to the best of your ability, but also have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Be comfortable working autonomously and with a small and inclusive team
- Strong local trade base and understanding of trade rates
- Problem-solving ability
- Have a calm and friendly demeanour
