We are seeking a hands-on Site Manager to take ownership of projects ranging from $5M to $20M. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor known for delivering quality projects across education, healthcare, community and government sectors.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Drive project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance
- Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients and consultants
- Monitor productivity and resolve site-related issues efficiently
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects
- Experience on government, education, healthcare or institutional projects highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades in a live construction environment
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies and safety requirements
- Trade or tertiary construction qualifications preferred
