What's Required? We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record delivering commercial construction projects from start to finish.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience delivering modular construction projects (highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong commercial construction background across new build projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding organisational and planning abilities
- The ability to manage fast-paced construction programmes and meet critical deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive site teams and subcontractors
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Solid knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and best practices
- Trade or tertiary qualifications relevant to the construction industry
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating and scheduling subcontractors, trades, and deliveries
- Driving programme outcomes and maintaining construction timelines
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Managing site-based quality assurance processes
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Monitoring site productivity and resolving construction issues as they arise
- Liaising with project stakeholders, consultants, and suppliers
- Maintaining site documentation and reporting requirements
- Promoting a positive site culture focused on safety, quality, and performance
