I’m currently partnering with a well-established national fitout contractor (20+ years in operation) to secure an experienced Fitout Foreman for a project based in Walkerville, South Australia.
This is an urgent requirement, with the successful candidate needing to be available to commence ASAP.
You’ll be joining a highly regarded contractor delivering the fitout and finishes to a live aged care residence, so previous experience working in sensitive, operational environments will be highly advantageous.
The Role
Reporting to the onsite Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations and act as the key point of contact on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all onsite trades, subcontractors, and labour
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce WHS compliance at all times
- Manage site logistics, materials, and sequencing of trades
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily reporting
- Liaise closely with the client and stakeholders, maintaining a professional site presence You:
- Proven experience as a Fitout Foreman, ideally within commercial or aged care projects
- Comfortable working in a live site environment
- Strong communication skills with a calm, positive, and solutions-focused demeanour
- Ability to confidently represent the builder as the “face of the project”
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Immediately available to start
- Initial 6-week contract (Stage 1), with strong potential to roll straight into Stage 2 (approx. 6 months)
