About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone who can act as the go-to helper on site, assisting trades and supervisors to keep residential builds running smoothly.
You will also be required to drive the client’s ute and small truck between residential sites, transporting materials and equipment as needed.
This position offers consistent work with the opportunity to move into a full-time role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- General labouring duties on construction sites
- Site cleaning and maintaining a safe, tidy work environment
- Digging, trenching, and manual handling tasks
- Rubbish removal and skip management
- Assisting carpenters, bricklayers, and other trades as the go-to helper
- Loading and unloading materials and tools
- Driving the client’s ute and small truck between sites
- Following all site safety procedures and instructions
- Using hand and power tools when requested
- Previous experience on residential construction sites preferred
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Full and unresticted working rights
- Comfortable driving a ute and small truck
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ongoing work with consistent hours
- All work located in South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
