Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of subdivision construction activities, including roads, drainage, sewer, water reticulation, and utilities.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is carried out correctly.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines and quality requirements are met.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Support the preparation of project documentation such as ITPs, RFI submissions, and as-builts.
- Liaise with surveyors to manage set-outs and ensure works align with design.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, including diaries, QA checklists, and reporting on progress and issues.
- Assist in procurement of materials and scheduling deliveries in line with project program.
- Ensure all works adhere to relevant standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 1–3 years' experience in civil infrastructure or subdivision works (graduates with relevant internships may be considered).
- Strong understanding of civil construction principles and relevant standards (e.g. Austroads, WSAA codes).
- Competent in reading and interpreting civil and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or QA software (e.g. Aconex, Procore) is desirable.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with site teams, consultants, and clients.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental management.
