Fetch is proud to be partnering with a top-tier civil construction company as they expand their Brisbane team. We’re on the lookout for a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to work on projects based between North Lakes and the Sunshine Coast. This role suits someone with 10+ years’ surveying experience, including at least 5 years on major infrastructure projects funded at the local, state or federal level.
You’ll be walking into an environment that values technical expertise, independence and quality. Your role will be hands-on and varied, from overseeing fieldwork and mentoring juniors, to delivering high-quality models and reports using 12d, Trimble and GPS tech.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver survey services across subdivision and infrastructure projects - from set-outs to conformance and ADAC.
- Perform EOM, detail, service locating and monitoring surveys.
- Prepare 3D models and set-out data using 12d Model and other advanced platforms.
- Interface directly with Project Managers, Engineers and Foremen to ensure design intent is met.
- Provide support for machine guidance and ensure calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate digital data, QA documentation and support compliance with public-sector standards.
- Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to training across the team.
- Prepare quotes when needed and coordinate daily on-site resourcing and logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 10 years’ surveying experience, including 5+ in civil/infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of 12d Model and experience in delivering large-scale construction or government-funded projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geomatics or Spatial Science.
- Registration or eligibility for SBQ (Registered Surveyor) or GCA (Certified Engineering Surveyor) is strongly regarded.
- Competent with Trimble hardware, GPS, machine guidance and CAD platforms.
- Bonus points for drone/UAV capabilities, 12d field experience and scanning/data processing.
- Strong communicator and problem-solver who’s not afraid to lead from the front.
- Must be currently living in Australia and ready to hit the ground running.
