The Role:
As Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates across a range of high-end residential projects.
Working closely with the Director and project delivery team, you'll help drive project success from the earliest stages while contributing to the continued growth of the residential division. This position offers genuine scope to broaden your skillset and evolve with the business as it continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for luxury residential projects
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and consultant documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Manage estimating workflows and maintain estimating databases
- Assist with budgeting, cost planning and value engineering initiatives
- Work collaboratively with project delivery teams throughout pre-construction
About You:
- Previous experience as an Estimator within high-end residential construction is essential
- Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies, finishes and detailing
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications and consultant documentation
- Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working within a collaborative, hands-on environment
- Ideally based on or within reasonable proximity to the Mornington Peninsula
