This role will see you working within the pre-contracts team, preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of major civil infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil projects
- Complete quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Monitor development of junior estimators
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
- Review subcontractor quotes and assess commercial risk
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Assist with tender clarifications and negotiations
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience in civil estimating
- Strong background across heavy civil construction projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office
