Our client, an established business operating within the civil construction and concrete pumping industry, is seeking an experienced Scheduler / Compliance Coordinator to join their close-knit office team. This is a genuine all-rounder role for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable dabbling across scheduling, compliance, administration and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be the key point of contact for keeping plant, crew and compliance requirements on track, while also supporting day-to-day scheduling and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule plant maintenance and ensure all plant and crew compliance documentation is up to date
- Maintain personnel records including tickets, licences and inductions (White Card, working with children, RIW, high risk work licences, verification of competency, etc.)
- Ensure personnel are competent and appropriately qualified for their roles
- Update compliance portals (RIW, Damstra, 3D Safety, Chekrite, HammerTech or similar)
- Organise crew training and certification
- Complete plant registration and checklists
- Maintain and update SWMS
- Attend toolbox meetings to support safety implementation
- Liaise with management regarding tenders/contracts for major projects
- Monitor and respond to compliance-related correspondence
- Assist with daily job scheduling
- General administration duties and answering incoming calls
- Experience in a scheduling, compliance, coordination or administration role, ideally within construction, civil, trades or a related industry
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using scheduling/compliance software (e.g. Simpro, Upvise, Damstra, RIW, or similar systems)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A genuine all-rounder who's happy to get involved across multiple areas of the business
- Friendly, professional and well organised, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Circa $70k–$80k
