Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Base + Super + Commissions
Fetch Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant – with the opportunity for the right person to step into a Team Lead position – to take ownership of one of our highest performing desks in the Construction division. This opportunity is brought about by retirement, and the desk speaks for itself: over a decade of active client relationships, consistent job flow, and a strong candidate database ready to hit the ground running.
You will be joining a high-performing construction team of 5 consultants, within a broader permanent recruitment team of 10, working alongside experienced recruiters who have strong reputations and vast amount of knowledge in the industry.
The Role
This is a 360-degree recruitment role, where you will manage the full recruitment process from client engagement through to candidate placement. You will inherit existing clients and active roles, providing a strong foundation to deliver quality placements while also growing the desk through business development and new client relationships. You will work closely with an experienced construction team and have access to Fetch’s established database and networks, while taking ownership of your desk and driving its continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain existing client relationships across the construction industry
- Recruit permanent white collar construction candidates
- Run a 360-degree recruitment desk, including candidate sourcing, screening, client management, and placement delivery
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients
- Utilise Fetch’s 10+ year database and established networks to build talent pipelines
- Maintain regular communication with both clients and candidates to ensure strong relationships and successful placements
- 2+ years’ experience in permanent or 360-degree recruitment, ideally within construction or a related white collar discipline
- Experience managing a 360-degree recruitment desk and generating new business
- A consistent billing history or strong sales performance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with a proactive and self-driven approach to work
