This flagship development will be site-based for well over 12 months and is widely expected to become one of Queensland's most prestigious commercial fitout projects. Please note: This is a full-time, site-based role. Due to the long-term nature of the project, only candidates currently based in, or within commuting distance of, Brisbane will be considered.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of this landmark project, leading an experienced team while maintaining the exceptional standards our client is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex luxury fitout exceeding $70 million.
- Take full responsibility for programme, budget, procurement and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Lead, mentor and develop the project delivery team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- Drive quality, safety, programme and risk management throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure successful project delivery while exceeding client expectations across every stage.
This opportunity demands an experienced Project Manager who has successfully delivered projects of similar size, complexity and profile.
To be considered, you will have:
- Proven experience managing major fitout projects of comparable value.
- A background with a Tier 1 fitout contractor is highly desirable.
- Alternatively, we will consider Project Managers from Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction contractors who have delivered major commercial projects and are looking to transition into a landmark fitout environment.
- Exceptional leadership, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to successfully deliver complex projects while maintaining the highest standards across safety, quality and client satisfaction.
