Our client is a privately owned builder and developer with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality boutique mixed-use developments throughout Melbourne. Their projects typically consist of 2-3 level apartment developments with ground-floor retail, built with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and attention to detail.
With a healthy pipeline of upcoming projects, they're seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to join their close-knit team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from the ground up. You'll work closely with the Director, oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects, and play an integral role across both the office and site.
The Role:
The Project has already commenced with the structures completed.
This is a site based role where you'll be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including:
- Managing projects from commencement through to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Programming and sequencing construction activities.
- Managing procurement and project budgets.
- Overseeing site operations to ensure quality, safety and programme objectives are achieved.
- Conducting site inspections and resolving construction issues.
- Liaising with authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
To be successful you'll have:
- Proven experience delivering low-rise apartment & mixed-use developments.
- A background across both Project Management and Site Management.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and confidently make decisions.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine sense of ownership.
- Experience across both structures & finishes
