Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will take full ownership of subdivision projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, profitable, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple residential subdivision and civil infrastructure projects.
- Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and site teams.
- Develop and manage project programs, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and commercial performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Monitor project risks, variations, and cost control to maximise project outcomes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and project performance updates for senior management.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 8+ years' experience delivering subdivision or civil infrastructure projects with a civil contractor.
- Proven experience managing projects valued from $10M–$100M.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and civil construction methodologies.
