Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in all phases of project delivery, from tender handovers and project launches to site setups, risk management, construction staging, and procurement.
- Manage key project aspects including safety, timelines, costs, and quality control.
- Oversee project planning and scheduling tasks.
- Coordinate and manage client relationships effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of construction teams and subcontractors against project estimates.
- Report on production costs daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Handle the procurement of plant, equipment, and materials.
- Issue Project Management Plans (PMPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMs), and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDs).
- Ensure project compliance with the Integrated Management System.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as an Engineer in subdivisions and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in earthworks, roads, pavements, structures, and general civil infrastructure.
- Experience working with local councils and service authorities.
- Strong ability to manage client relationships and maintain excellent rapport with subcontractors.
- Solid background in contract management.
