This is a contract role for an initial 3-month period, focused on managing and coordinating the precast package on a fast-paced, technically challenging project.
The Role will be working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team, you will take ownership of the precast scope from planning through to installation, ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery and installation of precast elements
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Reviewing shop drawings, methodologies and ITPs
- Driving programme outcomes and resolving site-based issues
- Monitoring quality compliance and ensuring works are completed to specification
- Assisting with cost control, forecasting and procurement activities
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the project team
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on commercial construction projects
- Strong exposure to precast structures and installation methodologies
- Experience working on large-scale projects valued at $50M+
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
