Fetch Mining Services are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join a major mining contractor at an established gold mining operation in North Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Excavator Operators looking to secure permanent employment with a reputable mining contractor. You will be working within an established production team, operating excavators in a busy mining environment.
Offering $68 per hour, a rotating 8/6 and 7/7 roster and excellent site accommodation facilities, this is a great opportunity for operators looking for long-term stability.
The operation is located approximately 140km from Townsville, with DIDO and BIBO arrangements available.

Experience / Site Requirements:
- Previous experience operating excavators within a mining environment
- Experience operating production-sized excavators
- Strong understanding of safe excavation and material handling practices
- Ability to maintain production targets and operate efficiently
- Experience working around other mobile plant and mining equipment
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current clean police clearance
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
- Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship
