Specialist Procurement
Fetch have an incredible opportunity with a brand new company for a proactive, high functioning Specialist Procurement, based in West Perth.

About the role:
  • Own the centralised inbound procurement coordination for the business, consolidating inbound goods at the hub and governing transport and logistics flows to and from mine sites
  • Work closely with Asset Management, Operations, Logistics and Finance to keep supply moving reliably and on time
  • Provide practical, hands-on support across procurement governance, hub coordination, supplier and contract management, and systems/data discipline
  • This is an interim centralisation role, designed to evolve into a formal Superintendent Procurement & Inbound Logistics position as the business scales
  • Not a traditional transactional buying role - this position governs process, integrates logistics, and shapes how procurement will operate at multi-site scale
Duties:
  • Govern procurement processes and standards, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and preventing fragmented local procurement practices
  • Own consolidation hub operations, coordinating inbound goods consolidation and managing transport flows to and from site
  • Optimise logistics routing and scheduling to keep inbound supply moving efficiently
  • Integrate procurement with logistics systems, aligning procurement flows with operational demand and preventing procurement-driven operational delays
  • Manage supplier relationships and support contract governance and performance, driving value and reliability across the supply chain
  • Improve and govern procurement systems and data integrity, ensuring transparency of spend and supply flows and supporting enterprise visibility of inbound supply chain health
  • Participate in the design of future-state procurement processes, systems and structures, and support the transition to the Superintendent Procurement role as the function scales
Experience Required:
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Procurement
  • Demonstrated experience working within centralised procurement environments
  • CIPS certification advantageous
  • Strong procurement governance, supply chain integration and logistics coordination skills
  • Systems thinking with strong commercial acumen and process discipline
  • Confident buying, expediting and managing supplier relationships in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
