Experienced Pipelayer – Water & Sewer Infrastructure

We’re seeking experienced Pipelayers to join a leading civil construction company delivering vital water and sewer infrastructure projects across Carseldine, Kuraby, and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. This role suits someone with solid trenching and pipelaying experience who prides themselves on accuracy, teamwork, and safety on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install water and sewer pipes to line and level specifications.
  • Accurately read and interpret site plans, levels, and set‑outs.
  • Work alongside excavator operators to ensure correct trench preparation, bedding, and backfilling.
  • Fit and join various pipe materials, including PVC, concrete, and HDPE.
  • Use laser levels and survey equipment to confirm installation accuracy.
  • Conduct checks to maintain line and grade tolerances throughout construction.
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Skills & Attributes
  • Proven experience in water and sewer pipelaying within civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of set‑outs, trench shoring, and bedding techniques.
  • Committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to operate efficiently as part of a small, productive team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing site conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a pipelayer in water and sewer projects.
  • White Card and relevant industry tickets (e.g., confined space, trenching, or plant operation favourable).
  • Physically fit and experienced in trench work.
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.
