About the Role
Our client is a Tier 1 Civil Contractor with multiple projects in metro and regional VIC. Specialising in Infrastructure, Road & Drainage projects they are looking to expand their team following a number of recent, successful tenders.
What’s On Offer
- $40 – $50+ per hour (depending on experience)
- 50+ hour weeks + Saturday work available
- Permanent opportunity for the right person
- Travel allowance – $21.94 per day
- Meal allowance – $18.51 (after 9.5 hours)
Day To Day Duties
- Read and interpret plans to determine layouts and materials
- Install Stormwater, Sewer, and Water Mains
- Utilise pipe lasers, dumpy levels, grade rods and relevant equipment
- Grade and level trench base using tamping machine and hand tools
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using cement
About You
- Technical expertise: Previous water infrastrure experience and proficiency in pipe laying techniques and procedures
- Australian Driver’s license and own transport
- White Card
- Also open to labourers/toppys/plumbers with water infrastructure experience
- Machine Tickets (Desirable)
- Self-motivation, ambition and drive
