About the Role
Our client is a Tier 2 Civil Contractor with multiple sites across Adelaide. Specialising in Subdivision, Road & Drainage projects they are looking to expand their team following a number of recent, successful tenders.
What’s On Offer
- $40 – $45+ per hour (depending on experience)
- 50+ hour weeks + Saturday work available
- Permanent opportunity for the right person
- Training & Development into a Leading Hand role
- Travel allowance – $21.94 per day
- Meal allowance – $18.51 (after 9.5 hours)
Day To Day Duties
- Read and interpret plans to determine layouts and materials
- Install Stormwater, Sewer, and Water Mains
- Utilise pipe lasers, dumpy levels, grade rods and relevant equipment
- Grade and level trench base using tamping machine and hand tools
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using cement
- Utilise pipe lasers, dumpy levels and relevant equipment
About You
- Technical expertise: Proficiency in pipe laying techniques and procedures, ensuring accurate installation and alignment.
- Australian Driver’s license and own transport
- White/Blue Card
- Genuine Pipelaying experience
- Confined Space Certificate / High Risk Dogman Ticket (Desirable)
- Self-motivation, ambition and drive
