Multi Skilled Plant Operators – North Adelaide
50+ Hour Weeks | Long Term Stable Work
About the Role
We’re looking for skilled operators who can handle a range of machinery for a large-scale ongoing project in Edinburgh.
Excavators, Loaders, Scrapers, Moxys/Dump Trucks, Dozers, Rollers.
The roles offer long-term, consistent work with strong hours for the right candidates.
What’s On Offer
- $38.36 – $48 per hour (depending on machine and experience)
- 50+ hour weeks available
- Travel allowance – $21.94 per day
- Meal allowance – $18.51 (after 9.5 hours)
- Opportunities to progress on different machines
- Ongoing casual work with long-term opportunities
Duties:
Your day-to-day will depend on your machine, but may include
- Bulk earthworks and site preparation
- Final trim and detailed finishing
- Hauling, loading and material movement
- Watering and dust suppression
- Pre-starts, shut-downs and general machine upkeep
- Operating machinery ranging from 15t–50t
- Experience with GPS systems (Topcon, Trimble or UTS) is highly regarded.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating civil, quarry, or bulk earthworks machinery
- RII tickets and White Card
- Ability to pass ongoing drug & alcohol testing
- Ability to attain clean National Police Clearance
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work 5–6 days per week, including overtime when required
- Strong recent references
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow site rules (including no phone use on site)
