Fetch Mining are seeking an experienced Open Pit Mine Site Surveyor for an ASAP start on an 8/6 Roster on a small gold mine in WA commencing ASAP
This is a great opportunity to work for an owner operator mining company with secure long term work and great pay rates on offer for the right person.

Whats On Offer:

- DAY SHIFT ONLY
- Work for a leading mining company in WA
- $90 Per Hour + Super - Weekly Pay
- Small Gold mine - Goldfields / Kalgoorlie region
- Long Term secure work
- ASAP Starts - be on site as early as next week
- Commercial flights with Virgin
Duties/ Experience Required:
- Flying / Operating drones - DJI RTK Drones
- Surveying open pit mining areas / pit development
- Surveying mining area mark outs and pick ups
- Generating detailed survey plans, maps and supporting mine planning
- Processing data / End of month data
- Working with site engineers, geology and site management
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in Australia
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying (Bachelors or Advanced Diploma)
- Previous experience on a mine site in a similar role
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (e.g., Total Stations, GPS, Mining Software).
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, including volume calculations, pit design, and stockpile management.
- Must be reliable and be a team player with the ability to work by themselves or well with others
- Australian Citizen / Full Working rights - sponsorship not available
- FIFO ex Perth only - flights wont be paid or considered for outside of Perth
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Must have a great attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to complete online inductions
- Will need 2 recent contactable references
- Must be able to commence ASAP
- Must be an Australian Citizen with full working rights
