Day Shift | $55–$57/hr + Overtime | Permanent Position

We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing business that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team on a permanent basis. This is a day shift role with plenty of overtime available, offering excellent earning potential and immediate interviews.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults
- Maintain production machinery to minimise downtime
- Install, service and commission equipment as required
- Work closely with production to ensure maximum plant reliability
- Follow all safety procedures and maintenance documentation
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Electrical fault-finding experience (disconnect/reconnect experience highly regarded)
- D Class Electrical Licence preferred
- Previous experience within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
