What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fitting and assembling mechanical parts and equipment
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on machinery
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and fixing faults
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Working as part of a skilled team on a variety of engineering projects
- Previous experience as a mechanical fitter or in a similar hands-on role
- Good understanding of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
- Able to read technical drawings
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) preferred
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a good team player
