The Role
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a leading food manufacturer on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an afternoon shift role offering stability, excellent pay, and long-term career prospects.
Key Details:
- Permanent full-time position
- Afternoon shift (Mon–Fri)
- $45–$50 per hour + 15% shift loading + super
- Food manufacturing environment
- Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults
- Working with conveyors, packaging, and processing machinery
- Ensuring plant reliability and minimal downtime
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or equivalent)
- Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
