Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry repairs, installation, and maintenance on the office buildings and structures, including walls, doors, floors, windows, ceilings, and roofs.
- Install and maintain furniture, shelving, and other fixtures in the offices, and other spaces.
- Repair and install drywall, patch holes, and apply plaster or other finishing materials as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as painting, sealing, and weatherproofing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with buildings and equipment and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.
- Work in conjunction with other maintenance team members to identify and prioritise tasks, and communicate progress to Facilities Manager.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain carpentry tools and equipment, and ensure they are kept in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- 3+ years of carpentry experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other maintenance team members.
- Experience with carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, drills, and sanders.
