Our client is a well-established food manufacturer with a busy production environment and a strong focus on quality, safety and consistency.
Due to increased production requirements, they are building a dedicated night shift production team to support their food production lines.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced Machine Operators / Production Operators to join the night shift team.
You will be working across production lines manufacturing food products, with a focus on operating machinery, maintaining production flow and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Previous experience working on food would be highly regarded, however, candidates with solid FMCG or food manufacturing experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production machinery across food manufacturing lines
- Setting up and adjusting machinery to maintain efficient production
- Monitoring product quality and completing quality checks
- Performing basic troubleshooting and escalating mechanical issues when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised production environment
- Following food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a close-knit night shift production team
We are looking for people who bring the right attitude as well as relevant experience.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating machinery in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Food production or similar high-volume FMCG experience is highly regarded
- A positive and helpful attitude
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- A reliable approach to attendance and shift work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- 10:00pm – 6:00am, Monday to Friday - 38 hour week with OT available
- $36.53 – $42.81 per hour + super + 30% night shift loading
- 4-month contract with route to full time employment
