Fetch Mining Services are currently seeking an experienced LV Fitter to join a major mining contractor operating at an established gold mining operation in North Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic looking for long-term, permanent employment within the mining industry. The position offers a competitive rate of $68 per hour, working a rotating 8/6 and 7/7 roster with alternating day and night shifts.
Located approximately 140km from Townsville, the operation offers DIDO or BIBO arrangements from Townsville, with access to an established site camp featuring excellent facilities.

Experience / Site Requirements:
- Trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
- S11 Inductions
- Previous experience working on light vehicles within mining, heavy industry or a workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
- Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current clean police clearance
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Strong safety focus and good work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of an established maintenance team
- Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship
