About The Role:
Fetch has been awarded multiple contract with leading mining contractors and owner operators across the Gold Fields, Pilbara and South West, as a result, we are are seeking multiple experienced LV Mechanics for a number of different sites, commencing ASAP!
There are different opportunities to work with various sized companies, either work for a tier 1 mining organisation or a smaller contractor company where you're not just a number!
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Providing technical support across all aspects of Light Vehicles and Ancillary equipment, including but not limited to Toyota and Isuzu trucks, bobcats, forklifts, lighting plants, Terex Franna cranes, and various other minor plant and operational equipment.
- Monitoring and reporting on equipment status in accordance with site-specific safety requirements.
- Identifying and reporting potential equipment faults or failures.
- Driving continuous improvement of maintenance strategies in alignment with company policies, procedures, and values.
- Developing and maintaining effective communication with other departments and key stakeholders across the site
- Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

Experience Required:
- Possession of an Australian-recognised Trade Certificate in Light Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience working with Toyota and Isuzu vehicles is essential.
- Familiarity with Terex Franna cranes considered advantageous.
- Experience with heavy rigid (on-highway) trucks is desirable.
- Previous FIFO experience in the mining or resources sector and familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of electronic diagnostic tools such as “G Scan,” “Toyota Techstream,” or equivalent systems.
- Strong background in automotive electrical diagnostics and repairs will be highly regarded.
- Competency in diagnosing and repairing automotive air-conditioning systems is advantageous.
- Basic fabrication and welding skills.
- Must hold a current Manual C Class and HR Class Driver’s Licence.
- Additional licences and certifications such as First Aid, EWP (Elevated Work Platform), Working at Heights, Forklift (LF), and CN (Non-Slewing Mobile Crane) are highly desirable.
