Fetch Mining Services has recently been contracted to supply skilled operational and lab personnel for exciting projects in the gold industry of WA.
 
With opportunities available with established and brand new companies, this is an excellent chance to secure long-term work with leading owner-operator clients across WA.
 
We are seeking experienced Lab Supervisors  for permanent positions commencing in the near future.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead and mentor a lab technician team across sample prep, fire assay, wet chemistry and analytical testing
  • Supervise daily operations for safe, accurate, timely sample processing
  • Provide technical leadership across PAL1000, fire assay, AAS, XRF, metallurgical testing and GIC surveys
  • Maintain equipment, QA/QC systems and reagent storage per safety/DG requirements
  • Oversee reporting, documentation, training and continuous improvement of lab procedures
  • Drive safety culture through inspections, risk assessments and use of site systems (Pronto, INX)

 
Experience Required
 
  • 3-5 + years' of proven experience supervising/leading a mine site laboratory team
  • Extensive gold lab operations experience (fire assay, wet chemistry, analytical techniques)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across lab equipment and processes
  • Commitment to QA/QC standards, data integrity and staff mentoring
  • Holds current High Risk Forklift and C-Class Driver's Licences
  • Desirable: Cert IV in Lab Techniques, Radiation Safety Officer accreditation, CCLAS/LIMS experience, metallurgical knowledge, and strong communication/stakeholder skills
