This is an outstanding opportunity for an emerging HSEQ professional looking to accelerate their career in a site-based environment. Working directly alongside an experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor, you'll receive hands-on mentoring while playing an integral role in maintaining a safe, compliant and high-performing construction site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the project's HSEQ Management System.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations and workplace audits.
- Assist with subcontractor inductions and ensure ongoing site compliance.
- Participate in toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives.
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
- Monitor project documentation, inspections and compliance records.
- Work closely with site management to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Contribute to quality and environmental initiatives across the project.
About You
- Previous experience in a HSEQ Coordinator, Safety Coordinator or similar construction-based role.
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or currently studying).
- Construction White Card.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational ability.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as HammerTech.
- A genuine passion for construction safety and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
