Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures across the project site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves
- Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in road infrastructure projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field. (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSE standards and legislation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
