The Role:
- Roaming or site based HSE advisor – projects situated throughout Western Melbourne suburbs.
- Working within the apartment, data centre, education and general commercial sector.
- Working across sites valuing up to $500m in total value.
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations, site safety protocols, and company HSE policies.
- Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address HSE issues promptly and effectively.
- Directly report to/collaboratively work alongside the company HSE Manager/Site managers to plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
- Review sub-contractor SWMS.
- Lead comprehensive on-site safety audits: Identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
Must have:
- 4 years+ experience in a similar Health & Safety position.
- Minimum Certificate 4 in OHS/WHS.
- MUST have experience using Hammertech
- MUST have experience within the Commercial construction industry.
- MUST have experience working on complex / high value projects.
