The Role:
- Roaming HSE advisor - projects situated throughout East / Southeast Melbourne.
- Working within the apartment, retirement living, commercial, education and heritage sectors.
- Split week consisting of travelling to multiple sites valuing up to $100m, could be anywhere up to 3 projects being accounted for at any given time.
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations, site safety protocols, and company HSEQ policies.
- Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address HSE issues promptly and effectively.
- Directly report to/collaboratively work alongside the company HSE Manager/Site managers to plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
- Review sub-contractor SWMS.
- Lead comprehensive on-site safety audits: Identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
- 3 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role.
- Minimum Certificate 4 in OHS/WHS.
- MUST have experience using Hammertech.
- MUST have experience within the Commercial construction industry.
