Fetch Mining Services are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join a leading mining contractor at an established mining operation in North Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters looking for secure, permanent employment with a major mining contractor. Offering $75 per hour, a rotating 8/6 - 7/7 roster and excellent site facilities, this is a great opportunity to secure long-term work in the mining industry.
The operation is located approximately 140km from Townsville, with DIDO and BIBO options available.

Experience / Site Requirements:
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience maintaining heavy mobile mining equipment
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs
- Ability to work on a range of heavy mining machinery
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Current clean police clearance
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a maintenance team
- Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship
