The project is a multi-million-dollar healthcare build, with roughly 15/16 months of guaranteed work.
The Builder:
- A company with over a century of years industry exposure and a true Victoria industry leader in the commercial construction space.
- Projects varying in size, valuing anywhere up to $50m.
- Excellent history of delivering complex projects in the commercial, education and health sectors.
The Role:
- Full time Health & Safety officer, first protocol will be to uphold a safe workplace.
- 50/50 Split of completing safety duties and general labouring.
- Working collaboratively with site managers/project managers with upkeeping a safe project.
- Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
- Effectively communicate with site management team to assist with daily on-site tasks including toolbox talks, site inductions and daily pre starts.
- Review sub-contractor SWMS.
- Conduct on site safety audits.
- Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
Must have:
- 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
- Minimum of Certificate III in OHS.
- Experience using Hammertech or a similar safety software.
- Must have strong computer and communication skills.
- Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded)
- Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols.
