I am currently seeking an experienced Foreman / Site Manager for a major data centre project located in Melbourne’s western suburbs. This opportunity is with a well-established commercial contractor known for delivering large-scale industrial and commercial developments across Victoria.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Manage subcontractors, trades and workforce scheduling.
• Drive and maintain site safety standards and OH&S compliance.
• Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions and safety meetings.
• Monitor construction progress and assist in achieving programme milestones.
• Ensure quality assurance processes and workmanship standards are maintained.
• Liaise with engineers, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and material management.
• Maintain site records, reporting and documentation.
• Promote strong communication and positive site culture across the project team.
About You
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a Foreman or Site Manager within commercial or industrial construction.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale projects such as data centres, warehouses, hospitals, manufacturing facilities or major commercial developments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of Australian construction standards and site safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet programme deadlines.
• Current First Aid Certificate required.
• Relevant building or trade qualifications highly regarded.
