About the Role
Our client, a well-established civil construction company, is seeking an experienced Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator. This position is ideal for someone confident in detailed earthworks with strong GPS system experience (Trimble, Topcon, or similar).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators for final trim and detailed earthworks
- Interpret site plans and set-out data
- Complete routine maintenance and daily machine checks
- Work with engineers and supervisors to meet design tolerances
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators on civil or infrastructure projects
- Proven final trim experience using GPS systems (Trimble, Topcon, or similar)
- Current driver’s licence and relevant operator tickets
- Solid understanding of safety and OH&S procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
