Summary:
Trade Assistant required for a manufacturing workshop. Ongoing day-shift hours for a 4-week casual assignment. You’ll be assisting fabricators, assembling components, and operating a forklift. Ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing experience.
About the Role:
Working in a busy manufacturing environment, you’ll support fabricators and trades by bolting components together, assisting with fabrication tasks, and moving materials using a forklift. This is a practical, workshop-based role requiring reliability and attention to detail.
Duties Include:
• Bolting and assembling parts
• Assisting fabricators and workshop trades
• Forklift operation and material handling
• General manufacturing and labouring tasks
• Maintaining a safe work environment
Skills & Requirements:
• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Previous manufacturing or workshop experience
• Confident using hand tools
• Able to commit to day shift hours (6am–2pm)
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
