The Role:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for precast concrete projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Conducting quantity take-offs using Bluebeam
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Assessing project risks and identifying value engineering opportunities
- Maintaining estimating databases and pricing schedules
- Supporting project handovers to the delivery team
- Previous estimating experience within precast concrete, concrete, construction, or related industries
- Strong proficiency using Bluebeam for quantity take-offs and mark-ups
- Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
